Welcome To Wildwood Childcare

The mission of Wildwood Childcare is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to children. The owners are passionate about providing quality childcare and felt that there was a need for a safe and dependable childcare in south east Edmonton, and thus they decided to open a state of the art childcare.

Some of the things that make us different from other Childcare are – freshly cooked & healthy meals, well trained professional staff, safe & secure environment.

The childcare was designed keeping the environment and safety of kids as a priority. The rooms use sound insulation. Access to the childcare is secured using card readers. The childcare has 6 large rooms, a staff room and a laundry.

I love all the different activities they do and the different events they celebrate. My son has also been attending the preschool and he is learning so much. The care and the love they gave him was just fantastic. We only left that daycare because we had a spot for French preschool. I recommend that place because I believe they’re great for kids!

Wildwood child care is an awesome place for kids. The centre has been a second home and safe place for my kid through out the two years we attended there, and an amazing support. Staff is very welcoming and caring . The only reason that my kid has to left this day care we moved to calgary . Alka g please open one branch in calgary 😊😊 . Really missing wildwood ❤️

Meet our Qualified Staff

We have an exceptional staff that has been selected based on their education, qualifications, experience and passion for working with children. The staff is always thinking of ways to create a fun learning environment for the children. Our staff has early childhood education degrees or equivalents and meet or exceed all the requirements of the Government of Alberta. The staff undergoes a criminal check including vulnerable sector screening and has CPR and first aid training.

Our Activities

Pre-School Activities

The goal is to develop competencies with shapes, numbers, counting, science, vocabulary, language and logical thinking. Children work independently as well as in groups. This is a 2.5 hours program, twice a week. Children engage in various activities as indicated below:

Day Care Activities

The children participate in age appropriate activities that help develop individual & social skills. The focus is on developing Self confidence. OSC Activities
